Omagad ! Just noticed the changing speech balloon !!!
You sir, just made my day ! “See you soon”, “Don’t fear the reaper”, “Now in black and white”. Hilarious !
Scythe’s were actually used as weapons, not just farmers tools. They were actually quite deadly because you could get a lot of force behind the blade, being on a long pole. Also after stroping the blade it was sharp enough to cut through leather armor like it wasn’t even there.
Technically you’re correct, though a war scythe is a very different implement from a farmer’s scythe. A war scythe has the head facing upwards, like a spear. In a fight, you will be better off with nothing than a farmer’s scythe.

Shhh! It might hear you!
I so want to meet him.
Here’s hoping for a story arc in which the farmer, whom the scythe formerly belonged to, tracks down Death to get revenge.
I found your website about 20 minutes ago. I don’t remember how because I have fallen in love with these comics. You sir, are incredible!
This reminds me of the Joan of Arc movie, where she finds the sword in the field. Except better.
