Once death’s purpose has run it’s course. Hmmm… That, through a twisted sequence of thoughts brings to mind a quote attributed to Philip Jose Farmer: Farmer once said: “There are Universes begging for Gods, yet he hangs around this one looking for work.”

Death being god viewed from one of the many sides… Has god’s purpose run it’s course?

I’m not familiar with Farmer’s work, but I really like that quote. Also, “has god’s purpose run its course” makes me think of Preacher by Garth Ennis.

I bet you would like the Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony.

The Death novels by Terry Pratchett are a serious must read. This comic today gave me flashbacks. O.o

My favorite part of this is that one of the dog’s pieces has actually moved forward.
