    To deliver a proper presentation please practice it before hand. Also, for the students at the college I work at we have a classroom for them to practice and not have to wait 5 minutes before class starts to practice.

    Write the speech several times and know the subject very well. Also, make certain that the note cards or other memory devices are just to help you remember not cue cards to be read from.

    In addition, PowerPoint should not be the star of the show. The presentation and the person presenting are the star of the show.
