Doing a report on e.e. Cummings is asking for a F.
if you spell the name e.e. Cummings it’s wrong because names are always capitalized.
E.E. is also wrong because he signed it lower case.
Any quotes you have of his writings are bad grammar and will get you points off. Correcting said grammar gets you points off for not quoting correctly.
On the plus side, arguing your case to the teacher will usually make them reconsider – a good teacher will give you the grade because they listened, and because you demonstrated debate skills (which seem to fall under language classes by default), and a bad teacher might give you the grade just to shut you up.
