Seriously… you are limiting Death to the first human who died? He could have been the first angel who got on the bad side of God. That is IF you want to stick with that one of the many theologies out there. Personally I think all mythologies are fair game. Egyptian and Greek are my favourites. My husband prefers the Norse.
Reina makes a good point.
And the Hawaiian pantheon is neat too, as are some of the Slavic/Russian pre-Christian ideas. It’s a shame Chernabog got demonized later, when people couldn’t handle the idea of a nonmalicious entity of entropy… Much as our favorite Reaper.
Makes sense.
Also, before it was mainstream? I see what you did there in the tags.
That’s some very deep stuff right there.
If I were a more religious Christian and believed what Death says there…
I’d assume Death is either Adam, Eve or one of their first descendants no more than 2-3 generations down from them…
Actually, based on the Bible, Able would have been the first to die, at Cain’s hand.
Or the lamb that Abel sacrificed to the God…
Or the poor animal killed to give Adam and Eve clothes when they left Paradise.
In one word, deep. Love it.
Motion seconded.
Death is the first one to die…
does that mean Breath(hehe it rhymes) is the first one to live?
and are they the same person?!
*Shivers* Sweet! You actually creeped me out with that one, and that’s hard to do! Love your comic.

Well to be fair Mary doesn’t ask “first human to die” she says first EVER to die. It does leave it fairly open still…

Fantastic. Much the imagine and ponder. Well done.
So he’s the ghost of the first microbe? Surprisingly sophisticated dude for all that.
*drops mic*
*walks off-stage*
Seriously, this demands a follow-up.
FIRST.
Well we know it wasn’t Cthulhu…
Sounds like my time in the Marines. You didn’t want to show up first.
C’mon, we need more here! This is one of those things you can’t just drop on us and leave! XD
