How old is Mary anyway? I’d guess something around 10?

I have to admit, Death is basically a big giant reaper teddy bear.

I would love to see a grim reaper teddy bear; it would be so cute!

Death is actually very fair. He doesn’t care about gender, skin colour, religion, sexual preference… All are welcome :-)

      And then he kills them.

I see it more as a sort of… visit.

Death sort of comes to those whose time has run out and guides them forward. You know, in the kind of way that without Death’s work (btw, I try not to use personal pronouns since we can’t really know) there would be losts souls wandering the earth not knowing their purpose or having means to move on.

There is a German child book (and a short movie adaption) about this, “Ente, Tod und Tulpe” (“Duck, Death and Tulip”), in which the Death follows a Duck around, just in case something happens. It also tells the duck it isn’t responsible for death, but for life. And more stuff I forgot about.
As far as I know, there isn’t a English translation, though.

Actually, it’s been translated into a number of languages.

I’ve never thought of Death as a killer. More as a “Harvester”.

I just hope there’s never a “FIRE SALE – EVERYONE MUST GO”.

WHAT CAN THE HARVEST HOPE FOR, IF NOT FOR THE CARE OF THE REAPER MAN?

Death simply comes to us to guide us to our next destination. Where ever that may be.
As such, He is probably just some dude with a job to pay the bills. Though honestly… We are keeping him pretty dang busy.

Shnoudl’t be, but hard to convince science that the whole universe is living consciousness from atom to nebula. We may need an ET visit for it to finally happen! Thanks devisun, Namaste always!!
