I love it the ending is so matter of fact – no big battle scene, no desperate attempt on the part of the hero (Death) to turn utter defeat into victory
You probably don’t remember making this comment, but I felt the need to reply – Cthulu was going to destroy the world, and Death didn’t want that to happen because he’d befriended Mary. And so when he destroyed Cthulu he turned him into sushi as some kind of trophy, in the satisfaction of knowing he had protected her.
Death always wins!
‘Cthulhu versus Death’ would make a great movie.
These last 4 panels have made it official for me.
This is the best web comic series I have ever seen.
Keep up the good work because i’m damn sure im at least going to keep coming back.
You have just made my day.
Bwahaha

just Death walking in with Cthulhu-shimi.
Death always wins. Cthulu, you got served…literally!
“To Serve Man”
He slayed Cthulhu…to get Mary some takeaway sushi? He must really love her!

At least I think that’s what’s going on…
Is that gas station sushi?
Gas station sushi is flirting with death.
She may well have been doing something similar from the beginning, so it hardly matters…
Cthulu-mari! The deep frying process and the marinara sauce removes all the ancient dread evil.
Boy! you’re gonna get it from PZ Myers!!
Yep. I’m late a f…hell with a reply. So, I’m going to say I love your work.
Wonder how it tastes to literally eat a god…
You don’t want to know what I’m thinking right now.
