It’s a good reminder of how close to each other the two consoles could be in the aspect of game difficulty.

In the original NES system and in the original Gameboy games, you can’t save and generally don’t have many lives, if you have more than one.

I don’t know what level I’ll hit it but for now I’ll try enjoy every level I get.

If you ever get marry, you see an ending of a love sim; if you win in a race, you see an ending of a racing game; if you go to war and survived with your side winning, you see an ending of a FPS/flight sim/etc.
The more you encounter in life, the more you get to see, and understand that game endings are not true endings, but only the beginning of the end.

I’m not fond of games where the main character dies at the end. Guess Katsuragi was right, Real Life is a shitty game.

Think Castlevania, Megaman, Ninja Gaiden. Yes, you’re right, people mean “NES Hard,” but the phrase Nintendo Hard is what stuck, because back then, people just called it Nintendo, not the NES. There was only one system.

Nintendo games are anything but hard. And they’ve been that way since the SNES at least.

I guess people mean “NES Hard” ?

But yeah, absolutely. This is the game of life, in a nutshell. It’s got a lousy ending screen.
